Healing Fibromyalgia –A Symptom Or Medical Condition

Muscular pain is a common condition, but you are not aware of the actual reason many times. Muscular pain can be caused due to a strained or torn muscle. It may happen sometimes when you do physical work in excess of your body’s capacity. The strenuous exercise or gym workouts may also cause muscular pain. In fact, muscular pain may or may not be associated with a medical condition.

It may be a symptom of body disorder or a medical condition, or it can be asymptomatic sometimes.

# 1. Muscular pain and fibromyalgia

When you have pain in your muscles, it can be a normal pain which will recede within couple of days, but a consistent muscular pain lasting for longer duration, say three months or more, and for years, is included in the category of chronic pain by medical practitioners. However, there is one condition of painful muscles, called fibromyalgia. It is not actually a disorder, but a typical syndrome, the exact causes of which are not known as yet. The researchers are pounding consistent efforts to find ways of healing fibromyalgia, but absolute success has yet to knock their door.

# 2. Symptoms and relation to healing

The medical experts are struggling to find suitable solution to combat this byzantine long-term condition, but they are still characterizing this asymptomatic condition by muscular pain, fatigue, tenderness, and affected mood and sleep. These symptoms are not solely associated with fibromyalgia and thus, can’t correctly be related to the exact cause of this condition. These symptoms won’t, therefore, help in healing fibromyalgia.

# 3. The problems in fibromyalgia healing

The medical science is lacking behind to catch up the pace of fibromyalgia which has already taken large population in its grip, though severity differs in every sufferer. The fibromyalgia-like symptoms have been observed in one out of fifty individuals in American population, 75-90 percent sufferers are women, and there’s no age criteria of sufferers. This is a hurdle in research work and healing fibromyalgia because this condition can’t be linked to a specific type of population, and much data is not available in this regard.

# 4. The recourse for fibromyalgia sufferer

The fibromyalgia sufferer feels a psychological strain due to discomfort and inadequate efficiency to perform life’s routine. The person can rely on some FDA-approved medications and antidepressants, but this will relieve fibromyalgia symptoms and pain without healing fibromyalgia permanently. A medication alone will not even help the sufferer to a great extent, unless support of physical therapy is taken. Some alternative medicines have yielded effective results in improvement of fibromyalgia-like symptoms, but not in healing fibromyalgia forever. The medications Cymbalta (duloxetine), Lyrica (pregabalin), Savella (milnacipran), and Tricyclic antidepressants are often recommended for fibromyalgia by medical practitioners.

# 5. What lacks infibromyalgiahealing?

The medications are helpful when a medical practitioner can diagnose fibromyalgia correctly because the symptoms interfere with occurrence of other medical conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis or other serious diseases. Fibromyalgia diagnosis can’t be done in an easy way because there are not so many advance diagnostic techniques, except testing blood sample of a patient. This is not a quick method, but there is no choice. The sufferer in any way and he or she has to wait for results of blood test.

# 6. Fibromyalgia healing is a challenge

Healing fibromyalgia is a challenge, but the person suffering from this condition should accept it. The will-power is a good way to accept this challenge. The suggested healing methods are good, but adopting natural ways such as yoga, meditation, and other methods can do a great job to promote healing effect.
